From almost 1000 videos worldwide, we selected 77 as the best representations. This travelling exhibition starts its journey in the Gashouder Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam.
The Gashouder, once under high pressure, is the perfect space for the exploding creativity of these young video makers. After this, the StrangerExhibition will travel and be shown in museums across Europe.
All videos in this exhibition come from different corners of the world as fragments of a portrait of this generation. The curators specifically focused on how young video makers experience today’s Europe and it’s current transformations. The StrangerExhibition shows different solutions young filmmakers give to our globalized world to renew itself.
