In the authumn of 2008 Stranger has sent a selection of the best videos from the website to the Tokyo Video Festival. After the selection procedures four videos have been selected and the makers got invited to come to Japan and attend the award ceremony. Three of the videos have been awarded with the ´Selected Work´ award and the fourth one got the ´Excellence Work´ award. Unfortunatly this was the last edition of the Tokyo Video Festival, but Stranger will continue with sending video works to other festivals. So join the Stranger competition, attend the StrangerFestival and maybe you will be also selected for other festivals around the world.

The four winners are: Perter Vodicka - Who I Am (Not), Rob Jacobs - .A Priori, Janis Vitols - Simple Day, Joey Steffens and Severijn Heijmans - My Big Happy Family.
